The Gorge Winds Concert Band may be "hired" to perform by a city, company, or organization for many types of events. The "cost" of a performance depends on several factors, including the desired size of the group to perform, the location of the performance, the type of event, and the length of the performance. We are a volunteer organization, and we have a fairly low overhead. Many organizations have been pleased with a high quality performance for a low cost.

Our music director deals with aspects of booking the band. This includes determining a date and time for the band to play, providing details of fees that are charged, and the practical arrangements needed for the event. The Gorge Winds Concert Band plays a wide variety of music, including symphonic band arrangements, marches, classical works, musical theatre, jazz, and original compositions.

In addition to the yearly formal spring concert and the Christmas concert, the Gorge Winds Concert Band has also played for the Trout Lake Festival of the Arts, the Arlington Jazz Festival, the Watermelon Festival in Irrigon, the Goldendale Friends of the Library, the Klickitat School District in Washington, and the 4th of July Celebration in Hood River, Oregon.
